On Purpose

The crisis that takes place within me at the start of every semester: Who will I be to what people and what will I accomplish?

How often do you feel like you get to start new? For me, it's every semester. Maybe that's something I've kept from college, but it's certainly not something I mind about myself.

I'm addicted to productivity. Thinking of life on the grand scale, my time here is valuable, and I want to spend it well. Talk about "YOLO" - if you only live once, why waste it on apathy and carelessness? Why waste it on ME when there are so many people to love?

Can't relate? That's alright. You don't have to. But this is how I'm living.

On purpose.
With intention and integrity.
Always improving.

This isn't my New Year's Resolution, it's my New Semester Resolution. To positively effect people. To reveal Truth, even when it's difficult or painful to hear. To help others discover the real source of life and then to inspire and encourage them to do the same for even more others.

It's not because it's my job; in fact I chose this job because it's who I am (or more likely, it's who I want to be.)

Today I'm reflecting on it. Making decisions. Coming to peace with my limitations. Finding my stepping stones. Drinking from the well of living water.

What about you?
